Waiting for the Messiah

Christians today might look at the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament and wonder how any one in Jesus' day could have missed him. Reading the prophecies of Isaiah, for example, are a little more complicated than we usually allow. They require interpretation on multiple levels. Once we do that, we find how they speak of Jesus.
