All Stove Up

"Stove up" means "stiff, tired, unable to move freely." In Acts 3:1-10, we see a healing of a fellow who could be described as "stove up." How to Handle Temptation

We find many clues for handling temptation in Jesus' encounter with satan in Mat. 4. Some pointers include:

2. Learning to recognize temptation as temptation, since it usually comes to us in the guise of a good idea.
3. Relying on the power of the Word to shape our minds, attitudes and desires.
4. Relying on the power of the Spirit living within us.
